i was bored late one night so i decided to etch my company logo on my laptop. it took a really long time to think of something to put on the front.. so a tarsier stealing the “w” from arrow seemed like a good choice

an then the next day you get fired!
I really like this, very clean looking.
I Dare You To Put Your Hand In there.
wtf?
lazer printer
wher to buy
That is fucken cool as hell!
i use coreldraw to make the graphics and ULS to run the machine. its a good set up, tones of options to get what your looking for
not in all cases. it works really well if there is a different color under the top color, then the laser just burns though the top layer to the plastic under the paint. but some times black surfaces just turn white or a shade of gray when the laser passes over it. Apple is great for this
Very cool. What is the software used to control the laser etcher called?
Very cool looking logo I must say.
But you would need a metallic colour surface to do that right? The back of my laptop screen is black. Though the place beside the touch pad is metallic colour.
pretty cool, i wonder what it would be like to put your finger in there… :/
There a great performer but sucks when you go for like durability, my screen cover broke from normal use, 100$ repair
i have a machine and i can do simple jobs for customers but i actually bought the machine to ectch headrest covers and make custom emblems for headrest dvd players that i sell and install.
ive had this one for over 3 years now with no problems
and i put it the ringer too. its been dropped and thrown around as i take it in and out of vehicles that i work on.
Are Acer laptops pretty good quality? I’ve been told from every computer place I’ve been to that they’re horrbible and always break down.
So this is like your own Laser engraving business?
yes i could have. i also have another computer that i normally use to do the etching artwork. this was a demonstration to prove that when etching electronic devices, they are not harmed. ive done 50 or so laptops and other devices and mine is the only one that has been taken apart.
and thanks for the comment on the logo
Can’t you store the etching in the machine memory so you wouldn’t have to take the laptop apart to etch the top?
Awsome logo by the way.
yeah cool didnt know thats was possibol
cool
