On a full battery in the always on mode with a Sprint broadband card USB modem, this battery lasts a little over 6 hours, on the max battery setting will give you another half hour. It sticks out like a sore thumb from the rear, imagine the 6 cell batter with another 3 cell stuck on it. It will keep you from keeping your laptop in the small sleeves though.
