How do I make photos into a video on an apple laptop?

I have 10 pictures that I want to create a video, fast, small. As a photo by photo as it passes a video. How do I do this on an Apple laptop?

    Search in your applications folder on your hard drive for a program called iMovie.

    Open the program and drag you pictures onto the window. The program will automatically import the pictures. You can arrange them anyway you want, add a transition in between each picture, and even add captions or titles to them.

    You can do it right from within iPhoto! Simply create a new Slideshow and once you like it, you can export it as a .mov

    Easy as that!
