How can I fix the sound on my asus laptop?

A couple days ago the sound on my asus laptop was working now its not, i clicked the volume button, then mixer and turned everything all the way up, but still no sound. how can i fix it?

    Get a new driver for it. Uninstall the current driver, install the new.
