    Yes. It is true. Most modern laptops have this function. It indeed saves battery life because the power goes directly to the motherboard and not first in the battery and then to the motherboard.

    Of course you are right,but not only Asus laptop.
    Most of the laptops hava a battery control circuit model which cut off the charging automatically.The power goes directly to computer.Don’t worry about the overcharge.
