I want to buy a laptop, but with all the decisions that we have on the market, I am lost. Actually, I am undecided between a Mac Book or Asus.

Ahh – yeah – so what are your needs/requirements exactly…
The Asus will be faster, bigger screen, graphics so you can game, etc…
If you just need to type out stuff, surf web, and be portable, then the mac will do.
Go the Asus, much better laptop for a better price. Simple really =)
Asus is the best gaming PC so try it my recommendation

This is what my friend told me when I asked him the same thing:

“MAC’s good for businessmen, but not very user-friendly

ASUS is awesome for students and normal people, it handles good, very user friendly, and most people are more comfortable handling anything that’s not MAC.

go for the ASUS…then lend me your old laptop”

    Me: “Shut up”

I’m a Mac person, but use PCs every day. Macs are more expensive, but they really do have style. The operating system is more powerful than Windows, but is really easy to use. I have never met a person who doesn’t like using a Mac after they have got to know them properly. The things you have to consider are price, portability and what you want from them. PC’s are cheaper, and are often better gaming computers. However, Macs are more sexy and are exceptionally good for doing the simple things as well as cool stuff like making photos, movies etc. Also, when you buy a mac all the basic software (bar Microsoft office, which you’d have to buy anyway) comes free with the computer. Macs tend to be lighter and tougher cased as well – look at the MacBook Air (tiny!!) and the MacBooks made from Aluminum. Finally, at the end of the day, if you don’t like the Mac operating system, you can load Windows on (through a feature called ‘Bootcamp’), and run any Windows applications on your Mac like it was a PC. PC’s are cheaper, and that’s often the thing that sells them better, but at the end of the day you need to get the one that suits you best. I’d recommend going to a store and having a feel to see what you like best. Good luck!

I don’t know anyone, including myself, who has ever regretted getting a Mac. They just work.
