    I had accident insurance on my 4 yo Inspiron 17 ” laptop that luckily was still in effect when I had an accident last spring. Like you I had no idea what they would send as a replacement. I was half expecting a new 4 yo old Inspiron so I squealed when I saw the dark blue cover! It was a Studio 1737 with a T-9400 chip & blu-ray drive. Granted it was refurbished but then my old laptop was 4 yo too. The Inspiron was a $1,800 model on sale for $1,200 & the replacement was worth $1,800.

    The lady from HP tried to get me to buy a new HP desktop and I refused….
    A few days later I get a supervisor calling giving me finally some great news!
    After weeks of arguing on the phone about all this and them lieing about sending me restore CD’s She tells me they are giving me a complimentary deal. I will be shipping them my desktop paid shipping and they will fully restore it ! Got it back the next day sent ! They fixed the software and failing hardware! Eh its better then nothing xD

    I have an HP m8200n that went out of warrently a few months ago.. The desktop software started acting up (Vista) and my hard drive gave out. I called them several times for information and then went online to speak to a tech. The tech gave me the wrong information and made me spend more. I saved all the info he gave me and called back saying that it still doesnt work and seems I bought all the wrong stuff ! The lady on the phone basicly said
    “To bad nothing else we can do”
