It depends on the size of documents. If each document is about 1 MB then it can easily hold it but if it is bigger than this then it may not. What you can do is find the size of all of your documents and then compare it to the size of 2 GB whether the size of your documents is bigger or smaller than 2GB. I can say that it can easily hold (about 2000) Microsoft word documents without having any screen shots in them ans are up to 15 pages long and only having text in them

consider the hard drive as a big pizza pie… with slices cut from the middle out, so that each piece is roughly a triangle. that’s how hard drives are done. each file is allocated to one or more of these “pie slices”. so, just for discussion, let’s assume a slice is 100K. if a file is 250k, it will use 3 slices, leaving 50K unusable. if a file is 1K, it will occupy a slice, leaving 99k unusable. So, you can’t really figure storage capacity by knowing the size of the drive. To get real proof, go to http://www.karenware.com/ and download the free disk slack checker and you’ll see how much waste there is on your drive.

I think you’ll find that the 2 GB refers to the machine’s RAM, not its hard-disk size.

2 GB hard-disk drives haven’t been fitted to new machines for years.

    You need at least 160 – 250 GB hard-disk.
