How to reboot my dell computers and laptop?

OK. So I have 2 dell computers and I don’t know how to reboot it. And my dell laptop keeps saying I need the disk for a clean up or something, and i need to know how to reboot it because it wont let me access the welcome menu.

    Start -> Restart

    or hold down the power button for about 3 seconds, then turn the power on again!

    Click on the “start” menu – then click on “turn off computer”. I hope you are not serious.

    You don’t need access to the welcome menu, you need access to the start menu. Might I suggest you sell the computer and start playing checkers?

    wow, it wont let you access start menu. That’s pretty bad. You can try to use this shortcut

    %windir%System32Shutdown.exe -s -t

    just save that as new shortcut

    Hi. If you mean reset to factory settings (you would lose all of your data) then as soon as the first screen appears, press and hold and F11. Follow the instruction.

    click start SHUT DOWN and then just turn it back on
    to delete old files click “control panel – system and maintenance – performance – open disk cleanup and that should fix the disk clean up and you can also go to tools on your webbrower and click delete browsing history
